This is a renovation and extension of a period house. Our strategy was to restore the spaces seen as architecturally significant and to consolidate these by providing new services alongside. These are contained in a new three storey volume to the side. A two storey sunroom was provided to the rear. This faces south and opens up the rear of the house to the garden and to the sun. The detailing allows light to penetrate deep into the plan and to heat the space.
