This project is a restoration of a late-Georgian hotel, located in Carrickmacross. The hotel is a protected structure of national importance. It was in poor condition. The brief was to remove various unoriginal interventions and restore the hotel. Paintwork and pebble-dash render to the front facade was removed. Non original windows were replaced with sliding sash fenestration. The limestone facade was repaired and cleaned. Internally twentieth century interventions were removed. An original curved staircase was restored.
