LORA AUGHEY was born in Monaghan in 1970 and worked as an architectural apprentice in Berlin before graduating from the School of Architecture UCD. In 1994, she moved to the States and worked with Allenbrook Benik Czajka Architects in New York where she gained valuable experience of both the public and private sectors. In 1997, she returned to Dublin and worked with Scott Tallon Walker Architects until 1999, when she established practice with Max O'Flaherty.
She is a member of the RIAI and has conservation accreditation.
MAX O'FLAHERTY was born in Galway in 1970 and worked as an architectural apprentice in Paris, Berlin and Barcelona, before graduating from the School of Architecture UCD with first class honours in 1995.
He worked with Scott Tallon Walker Architects in Dublin until 1999 when he and fellow UCD graduate
Lora Aughey established practice. He is a member of the RIAI, has conservation accreditation and has taught studio design at the School of Architecture UCD since 2002.
