Aughey O'Flaherty Architects operate a fully networked system of Hewlett Packard PCs, plotters, printers and scanners with on and off-site server back up, firewall, high speed internet and email. We use the latest computer aided design and imaging software including AutoCad and Photoshop and provide large format high resolution in-house colour and black and white output. We retain an independent computer systems expert for the management of all computer equipment. Our in-house model making workshop enables ongoing design development.
TECHNICAL STANDARDS
Aughey O'Flaherty Architects subscribe to the British Standards Association and National Building Specification to ensure continually updated access to leading technical specification and information. The practice is registered with the ArchInfo service at University College Dublin, which extends resources to include all relevant and up to date publications. Quality of the design/construction process is ensured by using the RIAI Plan of Work and the RIBA Job Book, to identify clients' expectations and control the outcome in their interest. The practice has a policy of Continuing Professional Development for all staff to maintain and enhance training and knowledge.
